Technology and the Art of Stair Building
Creating a staircase may seem straightforward. But ask a builder who's dealt with building stairs on site and you'll quickly find out that it is an art. The frustrations and cost-overruns of "working it out" can be avoided by applying our CAD design process and CNC technology to the age-old craft of stair building. Come on a tour of our pre-built process, from design to delivery!

We're on Your Side, From Idea to Installation. We're there on-site for local projects to talk over options and take all the measurements needed for accurate planning.

Every Stair is Made to Your Specifications. We check everything in and around the stair area, including all openings on the 1st and 2nd floors, the floor system thickness and types of finish floor designs.

Detailed CAD Drawings address overall foyer design and potential spacing issues. We can suggest solutions and include them on our CAD drawings so you can better visualize the stair layout before the first board is cut. Your stair will be a fixed cost and you will be assured that it will meet standard building codes.

Often, custom turnings will be produced on a lathe or custom fittings carved by our craftsmen.

We produce 300 straight stairs a week-300 stories-or over 3 Empire State Buildings tall!

A Structurally Strong and Squeak-resistent Stair is accomplished through the combination of routing, wedging and gluing. You get a cleaner look with routed stringers, risers mitered to open stringers and treads given a special mitered edge.

Rail for all Curves is CAD-drawn and Pre-fit in our Factory before it leaves our facility. Your trim carpenters will appreciate how quickly they can reassemble the stair balustrade�and you'll appreciate the money you saved on time and labor! For the volume builder, we offer the convenience and precision of pre-assembled rail.

Protected Delivery�on Your Schedule! Finished stairs are braced for covered delivery by one of our 30 delivery teams. Furring strips underneath freestanding stairs will ensure a perfect, sheetrock finish. Tread covers protect all stain-grade treads.

You Get a Quality First Impression when the rest of the house is still 2x4's. Viewing the entire house is safe and easy for buyers. And your trades get up and down on sturdy footing. No more bathtubs going up wobbly cut-in stairs built from 2x4's!
